To be able to book a rental you will need to provide your ID or passport and driving license. This should be in English. We cannot accept any other form of identification documents or holder of provisional driving license. Driver must be 25 to 75 years of age or with a minimum 3 years of driving license holder if under the age of 25.

No person can rent/hire a vehicle if is less than 25 years old unless:

1. He holds a valid licence for more than 3 years and
2. Special arrangements have been made for extra insurance coverage.
3. The excess/ deposit doubles for group/type D,E,F,G,H,I.

For over 75 years old can be provided extra insurances that will be charged extra on a daily basis and the excess/ deposit doubles for group/type cars D,E,F,G,H,I.

Failing to provide the above mentioned documents in digital or physical form will result in the cancellation of your rental agreement.

Driver/hirer and A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) representative must inspect and document any damages/scratches and/or defects, and the amount of fuel the hired/rented vehicle has before the contract is signed.

Driver/hirer by signing the vehicle rental agreement contract agrees and accepts all Terms & Conditions of A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental).

Driver/hirer hold the right to cancel the rental agreement contract before signing and collecting the car and reserves the right to request a full refund.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) holds the right to issue a voucher for the full amount with no expiring date instead.

If rental agreement contract is signed and hired/rented vehicle is picked up by driver/hirer and a cancellation/ end contract before the original end date is requested, A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will charge the days used as a new contract with a new price per day as the price given for each rental agreement is different based on length and vehicle type.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) holds the right to provide a voucher for the rest of the amount paid for the reservation if contract was canceled after the hirer/ renter requested to end the rental agreement before the original date agreed.

If the rented/hired vehicle is not delivered by the driver/hirer on the agreed date, time and place A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) has the right to take possession of the rented/hired vehicle by any means. If unable to do so is entitled to declare the rented/hired vehicle stolen, cancel all insurances and report to the police.

All vehicles are not allowed to drive off road and to the Akamas area. If you do so, the excess amount will be charged and all damages will be paid. In case of accident and driver/hirer has to pay for their own transportation from the scene of the accident.

The driver/hirer agrees to drive the hired/rented vehicle with caution and care at all times. If hirer/ driver drives the hired/rented vehicle with negligence, all insurances are canceled and all damages cost on hired/rented vehicle are the responsibility of the driver/hirer.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) has the right to terminate the rental agreement contract and take possession of the hired/rented vehicle at any time if, in own absolute discretion thinks that the hired/rented vehicle is not handled the proper way.

1. Not to permit any other person to drive the hired/rented vehicle unless he obtains A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) written consent.
2. That no person with physical, mental, vision or hearing defects will be permitted to drive the hired/rented vehicle.
3. That the hired/rented vehicle will not be used, on NON ASPHALTED ROADS to propel or tow any other vehicle, for racing, for speed testing, to carry passengers or goods for reward, in Cyprus.
4. Not to drive the hired/rented vehicle on flat tyres. In such a case all damages are driver's/hirer's responsibility.
5. Not to drive under the influence of alcohol.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will not give to a physical person a tax invoice.

Tax invoice will be given ONLY to companies that request and provide all relevant information required to issue a tax invoice.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will charge this amount on top of your rental amount.

This amount is what you are liable for to pay in case of damages.

The amount depends on your car group, insurance, years of driving licence holder and age.

Once the rental agreement is over A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will release the amount and usually it takes up to 7 working days depending on your payment provider(bank).

In case if any amount is withhold or charged on your excess/ deposit then it could take up to 30 days for the money to return depending on your payment provider (Bank).

If the deposit (excess) is paid in cash, this shall be returned back to you immediately after the rental is over.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) has a dedicated department working 24/7 and in case of accidents/emergencies or breakdowns it will be our first priority.

In case of need, driver/hirer must call A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) and request advise and or help.

In case of accident and it’s customer’s fault A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) bares no commitment to change or replace the Car. No refund to be made. Customer has to pay for their own transportation from the scene of the accident.

Driver/hirer must inform the police immediately in case of accident. Shall not move or remove the vehicle from the scene only to do so by the police instructions.

In the event of accident, if according to police and or insurance the accident is not driver's/hirer's fault, then no responsibility will be held on them and no amount is to be paid by them.

Driver/hirer must obey and follow all police and traffic laws of Cyprus.

If a fine is issued, driver/hirer is fully responsible to pay any fines as this will be issue under their own name and ID.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) has not responsibility to pay on behalf or remind driver/hirer to pay off any fines.

No insurance is covering fines from police.

All payments and deposits will be made in Euros.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) does not accept any other currency as payment.

Driver/hirer can pay in cash, card, online payments and by bank transfer.

If a driver/hirer makes payments online, has the responsibility to provide the receipt of the payment to A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental).

Failing to provide the receipt, A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) has the right to deny any requests, upgrades, extensions, contracts, rental agreements, extra drivers, extra equipments and extra insurances to take place.

All charges are payable in advance. A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) reserved the right to deny amends on contracts if a payment is required and has not been made.

Accepted cards are: Visa, Mastercards, Debit-card, Credit-card, AMEX, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Contract is with unlimited kilometres and has no extra costs.

Driver/hirer has the responsibility to use the correct fuel type of the vehicle hired/rented.

Vehicle is always rented/hired with full tank and has to be returned upon the end of the contract with full tank.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) reserves the right to charge the driver/hirer or withhold part of the deposit (excess) amount depending on the percentage of fuel tank missing.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) insurances DO NOT cover and is not valid in Turkish occupied areas.

Driver/hirer is fully responsible for any damages/breakdowns/emergencies and for returning the vehicle on the south part of the island on their own cost and agreement with the Turkish authorities issuing the insurance cover.

Driver/hirer will have to purchase a separate insurance that is valid on the Turkish occupied areas on their own cost.

By signing the contract driver/hirer gives permission to A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) to use GPS Tracking Devices. Cars are supported with GPS Tracking devices so we can track live all routes. Data will only be used for company's purposes and emergencies.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) does not have any responsibility for any personal items lost during or after the rental agreement.

If an item is found in the car rented/hired after the rental agreement is over and the car rented/ hired is returned, A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will store and save the item for 1 year.

Driver/Hirer is responsible to contact A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) and request for the item to be sent to driver/hirer.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) reserved the right and on own discretion to pay for the item to be sent or request from the driver/hirer to pay the cost for the item to be sent back to them in case if they live in a different country.

After 1 year A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) reserved the right to dispose the lost items, no matter the cost or personal value of the item.

If a driver/hirer requests to upgrade or downgrade their vehicle type, extend rental agreement contract, extra equipment and or different return or pickup location, A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) holds the right to refuse if there is no availability or staff to accommodate those requests and or charge extra fees.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will not be responsible if those requests cannot be met and will not provide any compensations.

If a costumer rented/hired a vehicle and at the beginning of the contract the vehicle is not available for any reason, A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will provide a bigger vehicle until the original rented/hired vehicle is available.

Driver/hirer can request for extra equipment (bike rack) before or after the pickup and contract is signed with a one time payment no matter the length of the contract or car type.

If the equipment is requested after the pickup and contract is signed, an appointment will need to be scheduled with time and date for the equipment to be installed.

Driver/hirer reserves the right to request for the equipment to be removed at any time before or after the pickup and contract is signed.

No refund will be given after the equipment is installed, driver/hirer picked up the car and contract has been signed even if the equipment is removed. If for any reason the bike rack is damaged, lost, stolen driver/ hirer will be responsible and a charge of 130 euros will be given.

Refund will be given only if the bike rack was installed and payment has been made or if equipment is removed before driver/hirer picked up the car and contract has not been signed.

Driver/ hirer can request baby car seat and or baby booster free of charge, this needs to be returned back at the end of your contract. Failing to do so penalty will be given with the charge of 240 and/ or 40 euro.

All cars include a bag with a mobile phone car holder, universal phone charger and a universal charging cable. This should be kept safe and to be returned upon end of contract. If anything or part is missing a penalty with a charge of 10 euro for each part will be given.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) provides specific locations at both airports of Cyprus (Larnaca and Paphos), in a specific parking lot in Nicosia, at Larnaca offices, Limassol and Agia Napa.

Specific locations are provided once the payments for the rental agreement have been made.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) on their own discretion and staff availability is able to accommodate any requests from drivers/hirers for the pickup and/or returns to be done in a different place or city.

After agreeing to pick up and/or return the rented/ hired vehicle in one of the above locations, if the renter/ hired change their mind A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) holds the right to charge extra fee.

Pick up and or returns at Larnaca offices will be done ONLY while the office is open and operating. The operating hours are Monday to Sunday from 9:00 until 17:00.

Once hirer/ renter returns the car it needs to be clean. If a A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) representative cannot inspect the exterior or interior of the car for any damages due to dirt the company holds the right to issue a cleaning penalty depending on the state of the car.

Extra driver can be added on the rental agreement contract at any time before or after the contract is signed on an additional cost depending on the length of contract and days that the extra driver will be covered to drive the rented/hired vehicle.

The extra driver will have to provide their personal information, ID/Passport and driving license. (all T&C from Documents & Requirements section applies).

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) holds the right to remove the extra driver if documents and/or payment fee have not be provided and/or made.

Driver/Hirer holds the right to request for the extra driver to be removed with a full refund only before the contract is signed.

If the rental agreement contract is signed no changes can be made and driver/hirer does not have the right to request a refund even if the extra driver has not driven the rented/hired vehicle.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) holds the right on their own discretion to provide a full/partial refund in the event that the extra driver has been removed from the rental agreement contract whilst this is on going.

Driver/hirer can request an upgrade on their rented/hired vehicle to be swapped with a bigger vehicle at any time even before or after the rental agreement contract has been signed.

If there is availability the rental agreement will change, a different price will be given and this will depend on vehicle type and length of rental.

In the event that driver/hirer already signed a different contract and wishes to upgrade and swap their vehicle type, A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will request a full inspection on the rented/hired vehicle the driver/hirer already holds.

An appointment will be set for inspection and swap. Process could take up to 1 hour. If A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) finds scratches/damages and/or defects on the rented/hired vehicle that is to be returned upon the inspection, holds the right to refuse the upgrade and charge driver/hirer for any scratches/damages and/or defects found.

The same applies in the event of driver/hirer requests to downgrade and swap the rented/hired vehicle with a smaller type of vehicle.

If a smaller type of vehicle is requested by driver/hirer, will be entitled for a refund on the difference of payments already made for the rental.

Driver/hirer holds the right to request for the rental agreement to be extended/reduced before/ after the rental agreement has been signed.

To extend the rental agreement contract there must be availability. Driver/hirer will have to contact A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) the earliest possible (48 hours notice is preferable) and pay immediately the extra cost and sign a new rental agreement for extending the rental.

In the event that driver/hirer wishes to reduce the length of rental. A new rental agreement contract will be set with a new price per day based on length. Once this is agreed and signed, a refund will be given to driver/hirer on the difference of and if payments have already been made.

All rental agreements do include C.D.W full insurance and V.A.T with an excess amount. The excess amount is also the deposit and that depends on the vehicle type/group. C.D.W COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER: Full insurance with excess according to car category reduces the renter liability for damage to our vehicles.

• Group H1 excess 900 euro
• Group I3  excess 1500 euro

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) offers S.C.D.W SUPER COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER: Full insurance with excess reduction. The excess amount is also the deposit

• Group A-B-C excess 100 euro
• Group D. excess 150 euro
• Group E1-E3 excess 250 euro
• Group F1 excess 250 euro
• Group G1-G3 excess 250 euro
• Group H1 excess 350 euro
• Group I3 excess 600 euro

Tyres and Windscreen are not included in any above mentioned insurances. Any damages is driver's/hirer's responsibility unless “Tyres and Windscreen” insurance is purchased separately. No excess (deposit) reductions apply if purchased.

If a hirer/renter request for SCDW and/or T&W to be added and contract has been amended then A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will not be able to remove the SCDW and/or T&W and no refund will be made if hirer/renter changed their mind.

If a hirer/renter request for an insurance to be added (SCDW or T&W) on the hired/ rented vehicle after they picked up the vehicle and contract has been signed A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will need to set an appointment for inspection of the hired/ rented car. Process could take up to 1 hour. If A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) finds scratches/damages and/or defects on the rented/hired vehicle during the inspection, holds the right to refuse to add the insurance (SCDW or T&W) and charge driver/ hirer for any scratches/damages and/or defects found.

In case of renter/ hirer requests to add the SCDW while the contract is on going and the hired/ rented vehicle has been picked up then A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) will need either to charge the new excess/ deposit and process a refund to the previous one or hold the old excess/ deposit but hirer/renter will only be responsible for the new excess/ deposit amount. If hirer/ renter request for the previous excess/ deposit to be refunded A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) does not have the ability to refund instantly the amount as this is entirely up to the hirer’s/ renter’s payment provider (Bank) which in some cases can take up to 15- 20 working days) (1 month).

Any refunds from removing an insurance from rental agreement before the rental agreement was signed and the hired/rented car has been picked up, will be issued after the rental agreement is over.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) does not offer any insurance for underbody, windows and side mirrors.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) provides monthly/ long term rentals with prices based on low or high season and this is agreed based on the month of the year.

Hirer/ renter has the obligation under the rental agreement to visit the agreed location once per month for A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) to inspect the car for any defects/ damages, scratches/ oil change/ tyre check up and or tyre change/ breaks check up/ MOT/ service or and everything else needed to be sure that the car has no defects and that everything works as it should.

Hirer/ renter has the obligation under the rental agreement to pay up front before pick up or rental agreement starts and 3 - 5 days before the rental agreement starts for extending the monthly rental.

If hirer/ renter fails to proceed with the payments and/or visit our office for the monthly check up, A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) the rental agreement will not be extended and hirer/ renter must return the car immediately.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) prohibits all types of smoking in rented/ hired vehicles including vaping. In keeping with this policy, if a vehicle returns back smelling of any type of smoke, including e-cigarette vapors, we will assess a cleaning fee.

A.S.T. AEOLIAN STRATEGY TARGET L.T.D. (Cosmos Car Rental) allows pets to ride in the rented / hired vehicles with no additional fees. The pet should be kept in a carrier or crate at all times. Renters/ hirers are responsible for any damage caused by the pet, and to avoid cleaning charges, vehicles should be returned clean and free of pet hair.
